um how exactly do u get mxit to work….on my pc emulator (mpowerplayer) it sais GPRS not enabled when i try connect

def:
You need to have your internet on. Also, port 9119 mustn’t be blocked on the PC you working on. I.E. if you at work and access the internet through a proxy or you have a firewall installed, it would probably block an unknown port like MXit’s port 9119.

Hey there π
I have downloaded the java app emulator to run *.jar (cellphone games and apps) files on my pc. Yes its works mxit aslo works ( I clicked on ur link of the nokia 5140) but now I have to download mxit e.g d600 for samsung. But my problem is that if i go to the mxit site and I wana download it, it only shows a *.jad to download. I need it to be the app, like *.jar otherwise it cant run on the java emulator.
Thanks

Hay, the samsung versions of mxit don’t work on the emulator I think…
The .jar’s have the same name as the .jad’s, so just change the extension of the url to .jad…
So, the url to the .jad (D600) http://www.mxit.co.za/wap/mxito/mxito.jad , to get the jar, just go to http://www.mxit.co.za/wap/mxito/mxito.jar!

WOW! Thankyou so much for ur quick reply! Yeah u were right the samsung dont work on the emulator. The reason is why I ask for it is that I downloaded the Nokia 5140 version of mxit to run on the emulator, but I have a small graphics proplems on the sides. So I wonderd what mxit version runs smooth on the emulator?
—-
Kewl, no prob π Was just good timing.
The most optimal version for the jar emulator would be the mxitk.jar version, it’s for the Nokia 6320i.

Hay, I think that yesterday was just a bad day for mxit! I was having the same problem on my real phone!
Maybe when the server dies and you lose your connection, then your mxit doesn’t know whats going on, and just ‘locks up’ in a way.
Mine gets extremely slow, and no messages go through when it happens.
So, it could always be server side problems, and not just you.
There are many factors along the way…
Hang tight…

I need a mxit jad or jad file that’ll work the whole time. A file that is compatible with a computer, hmm? One that doen’t require a link?

Download this .jar: mxit.co.za/wap/mxitk/mxitk.jar. And open the saved file on your PC with MPOWERPLAYER.

Hi there. I’m on vlive! and would like to know how do I get my pc version to register. as you guys should know to go online with a pc and a cell is FU-ing expensive. vlive is free. Mine refuse to register if I use my vlive connection… And worst of all pc version don’t accept my mxit account that is registered on my cell…
————————————–
Vlive isn’t free anymore, that I know of? π Maybe Vlive blocks all ports except the standard ones (http, etc.).

how do i change my cellphone number on mxit
———
* Read here how to change your number on MXit PC -> mxit.defza.com/faqs/change-number-or-password-mxit-pc.
* To change your number on MXit on your phone, delete MXit from your phone (Your profile won’t be deleted), then download MXit again. Then the MXit app will ask you for your number.
Remember, all your contacts are associated with a phone number, so if you use a different number or a new number, it won’t have the same contacts.

Can i use mpowerplayer on my mobile?
———–
MPowerPlayer simulates a mobile phone, so why would one want to run it on your mobile phone?
It won’t run though, unless you have a phone with a full Java Virtual machine, not the mobile version.

Any way of playing mobile online games on your PC? Example TibiaME.

Hi, Yeah, Definitely!
MPowerPlayer does exactly that! Check it out!
I didn’t know about TibiaME – tibiame.com – an online multi-player adventure game for your mobile phone!
Thanks

RE-BACK:
Hello, I have fixed the problem!
All I had to do was change the coding settings & mobile emulation type fitting options.
The only problem is that the other games don’t fit, and I lose my game when changing the settings back for other games?
